Water in Electric water heater is too hot
If the water coming out of your faucets is too hot, it may be that the thermostats are set too high code requires the water to be less then 120 degrees F

but sometimes a thermostat goes bad and causes the water to get very very hot. there is a heat gut off in the thermostat but it may get to a scalding temperature before it trips, this is a good tome to call a professional
